Drusella Ann (Willey) Cocklin

1938 – 2019

 

Drusella A. Cocklin, 81, passed away September 3, 2019, in Wooster, Ohio, surrounded by her family.  She was born July 26, 1938, in Indiana, and graduated from Massillon High School in 1956.  Drue is remembered for her strong faith and her love for her family; who in turn loved her very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Willey. Drue is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert; brother Charles (Judy) Willey; sister Patricia (Jerry) Pratt; daughters Chris (Ken) Dudte;  Robin Shiplett;  Jennie (Bruce) Knupp; son Michael (Cheryl) Cocklin; grandchildren Mindy (David) Hane; Geoffrey (Kim) Gilbert; Ryan (Maggie McClain) Shiplett; David (Stacey) Shiplett; Jill (Kenny) Garrett; Chad (Larisa) Knupp; Darren (Kelly) Knupp; Alyssa Soto; Aaron Cocklin; Ashlyn Cocklin; Allison Cocklin; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, September 22, 2019, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 127 Cherry Rd., N.E., Massillon, Ohio, at 2:00 P.M.   In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to LifeCare Hospice, 1900 Akron Rd., Wooster, Ohio.
