Obituary

Dudley Webster passed away on January 16, 2022, after a brief illness, with the comfort of his loving family surrounding him.

Born in Duluth, Minnesota to Richard L. and Shirley Ann (nee McCormick) Webster.  Dudley spent his high school years in North Canton, OH graduating from Oakwood High School and from OSU with a degree in horticulture in the 1970s.  After college, he met the love of his life, Barbara Riethman, while working in western Ohio at PK Lumber.  They wed on May 3rd, 1980 and moved back to Canton to help his parents.  He was an active member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon.

Dudley enjoyed working with vehicles and trouble shooting all sorts of problems.  There wasn’t a problem that he couldn’t solve.  Using these skills he thrived as a self-employed owner-operator truck driver and jumped at the opportunity to become a company driver at Kenan Advantage Group in 2000.   Never staying idle for long, Dudley traded in his air ride seats for a job in IT with Kenan in 2006.  He recently celebrated 20 years with the company and the many friendships that he made along the way.

Dudley enjoyed camping, working on cars and trucks, traveling, garage sales, wood working and gardening. Most of all he loved spending time with his beloved family.  He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Barbara; daughters Tracy Jo (Jason) & Kelli (Jack); son Terry; 6 grandchildren; sister Dana (Kevin) and a host of extended family.
