Dwight Edward Staubs, 72, of North Canton, OH, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Mercy Cleveland Clinic in Canton, OH.
Born November 20, 1950 in Washington County, MD.,he was the son of the late Edward F. Staubs and Cathryn M. Giffin Staubs.
After attending college at Hagerstown Junior College, he began his professional career with Arnold Corporation in Hagerstown, and in purchasing. He accepted a position in Akron, OH with Arnold Graphics/Reynolds & Reynolds which eventually lead him back to Chambersburg, PA in a new role with J.D. / Gilman Sky, a business form printing and paper company, as Vice President. Dwight finished his professional career with TST Impreso, Chambersburg, PA as Regional Sales Manager where he retired.
He was a member Burnside First Church of God in Sharpsburg, MD.
Dwight enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, playing softball, fishing, hunting , watching TV Land and making his special pancakes for his family when they visited.
He is survived by his son Dwight E. Staubs Jr. (Cynthia) of North Canton, OH; his daughters Tracy McCluskey of DuBois, PA and Angie Kuhn (Keith) of Boiling Springs, PA; one sister Cynthia E. Staubs of Dargan, MD.; four grandchildren, Caitlin Hudson (Evan), Jacob Staubs (Sarah), Ashley McCluskey and Dylan McCluskey; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dwight is also survived by his former wife Patricia Staubs.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years Candace K. Staubs; one brother Keith W. Staubs; one sister Lisa A. Staubs; sister-in-law Cheryl L. Staubs and beloved dog Cadj.
Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 11 at 12:00 p.m. at the Burnside First Church of God in Sharpsburg, MD. Luncheon to follow.
