Eric L. Wells

Eric L. Wells, age 64 of Jackson Township, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at Summa Health Barberton Hospital.
He was born December 1, 1958, in Grand Rapids, MI the son of the late William and Ruth (Hurst) Wells.
He graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. 
Eric retired from Babcock and Wilcox after 38 years of service as a field engineer who worked with loyalty and designed many patents.  
He enjoyed music, golf, and U of M football.
Eric is survived by his uncles and aunts, Alan and Linda Buchanan and also Doug and Joyce Roossien. Also many cousins. 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Wells.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Michigan.
His final place of rest will be at Rosedale Memorial Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI.
Eric died from multiple complications of diabetes. He found comfort in his faith in Jesus Christ. He, as well as his family, are thankful for the prayer group from Parkside Green Church who faithfully prayed and cared for him. He and his family are thankful for his neighbors who befriended and helped him through the recent years, especially Sam and Amanda Wise and Chris and Tracey Clark.
