Florence M. (Wantz) Tully

Florence M. Tully, age 101 of Massillon, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023 at Brewster Parke.
She was born April 21, 1922, in Massillon, the daughter of the late Howard and Martha  (Oberhauser) Wantz.
Florence was a cook and housekeeper for St. Barbara Catholic Church for many years.  
She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish, Florence loved to dance, crocheting, gardening, and reading.
Florence is survived by three sons, Tim Tully, Raymond “Rink” (Moira) Tully, Thomas (Lana) Tully; sister, Patricia Kerr; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by husband, Thomas John Tully; siblings, Robert, Raymond, Joseph, Mary Margaret; grandson, Thomas; daughter-in-law, Patti.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Barbara Campus,  at 11:00 am with Rev. Don King celebrant.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Divine Mercy Parish - St. Barbara Campus, 2809 Lincoln Way NW, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. 
Burial to follow the service at Brookfield Cemetery in Massillon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
