Geraldine A. (Burke) Bales

Geraldine A. Bales, of North Canton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at St. Luke Lutheran Community - Portage Lakes.
She was born March 30, 1931, and was a graduate of Grafton High School.  
Geraldine retired from Jackson Local Schools in 1993.  She had worked in the high school library and guidance office.  
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Michaels' Garden Club where she served as past co-president.  
Geraldine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her husband and family unconditionally.  She is survived by sons and daughters-in-laws, Bob and  Mischelle (Missy) Bales and Dan and Kathy Bales; grandchildren, Shane and Shannon Bales and Scott Bales.  She enjoyed going to her grandchildren's sporting events and school activities.  
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth who died in 2003; brothers, Joseph and John Burke, sisters, Alyce Potts, Dorothy Davis and Jeanette Harrison, and her parents, Julius and Anna Burke.   
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at St. Michael's Catholic Church,  at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be held at the church prior to the Mass from 10 to 11 A.M. 
Burial to follow the service in North Lawn Cemetery.  
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.
