Jack Meiser, age 83 of East Canton, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born April 13, 1938, in Canton the son of the late Paul H. Meiser and Georgia C. (Young) Meiser.
Jack was a Navy Veteran.
He owned Canton Auto Spring.
He worked at Giant Eagle in Louisville as a maintenance man.
He enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports like bowling, baseball and loved golfing with his grandson, Kenny Jr. and friend, Jim Murphy at Sable Creek.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Eugene Meiser and son, Paul K. Meiser.
Jack is survived by his son, James Devine of Cincinnati; daughter, Rose Wallace of Bolivar, former son-in-law Robert Wallace of Perry; daughter, Jacquelynn (Kenneth) Ford Sr. of East Canton; grandchildren, Lillian Meiser, Deisel Ford, Kenneth Ford Jr., Emmalee Ford, Ella Ford, Jennifer (Ethan) Kinney, Christopher Allchin, and Rachel Wallace; nephew and nieces, Tim (Mary) Meiser of New Philadelphia, Kristen Meiser of Adrian, Michigan; and great niece and nephews, Adam, Andy, and Alex Meiser, Caitlin and Jeremy (Amanda) Desentz.
A committal service will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Sunset Hills Burial Park - Chapel, 5001 Everhard Rd NW, Canton, OH 44718 at 2:30pm.
