James Rollie Arnold

James (Jim) R. Arnold, age 42, of Canton, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 14, 2023.  He was born in Fremont, Ohio on October 11, 1980.  Jim grew up in Findlay, Ohio, where he was active in football, track and hockey and was also in the show choir and theatrical productions.  He attended Ashland College and The University of Findlay where he graduated in 2003 with a BS in Business Administration.  On July 24, 2004, he married Angela Cunningham and she survives.  They moved to Durham, North Carolina, where they lived until 2017 when they returned to Massillon, Ohio.  Jim worked in the mortgage lending industry his entire career.  He loved fishing, studying and teaching God’s word and was a devoted husband and father to his three sons, Jack, age 13; Owen age 11; and Quinn age 3.  Other survivors include his parents, Gene and Sue (Croll)  Arnold; in laws Gerry and Lynn Cunningham and sister and brother-in-law Maureen (Beanie) and John Vanbuskirk.  He is also survived by a loving family and many friends.  Visitation will be Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 10 am - 12 pm at Heitger Funeral Home, Jackson Chapel 5850 Wales Ave NW. Massillon, OH 44646.  A Celebration of Jim’s life will follow beginning at 12 P.M.   Memorials may be made to the JOQ Arnold Educational Fund, 4735 Massillon Road, Unit # 706, Green, Ohio 44232 for Jim’s children.
