Linda M. Heimann, age 63, of Massillon, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022.
She was born January 30, 1959, in Massillon, daughter of the late Richard J. and Dorothy J. (Marthey) Heimann. She was also preceded in death by sister, Patricia J. Heimann.
Linda was a health and physical education teacher for 41 years. She was currently a teacher at Fairless Middle School and had previously taught in the Catholic Schools. She coached volleyball and basketball at Fairless and coached track at Tuslaw. She coached volleyball and track at Washington High School from 1981 to 1984. Linda owned Skeets Sporting Goods Store in Navarre and Canal Fulton, and had a tee shirt business, T-Shirt Originals, where she also made quilts.
She was a member of St. Clements Parish - Navarre, and had volunteered for Red Cross.
Linda loved boating and camping at Seneca Lake with her family and friends.
Linda is survived by sister, Ann (Don) Mayle; brothers, David Heimann, Steven (Penny) Heimann; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Calling hours will be held at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon, on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 6 to 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 10 to 11 A.M.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairless Alumni Association, 320 South Wabash, Brewster, Ohio 44613, "School Supplies" on the memo line.
