Marilyn "Jeanie" (Fisher) Younker

Marilyn “Jeanie” Younker, age 85 of Massillon, passed peacefully Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born October 2, 1936, in Massillon the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine (Reichel) Fisher.
Jeanie retired after 50 years of accounting and administrative services.  
She was a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church, she was a past member of Sweet Adelines in Massillon.  Jeanie was an avid Cleveland Indians and Massillon Tigers fan.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, and family get togethers. 
Jeanie is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Carl) Starr, Kathleen (Keith) Davis; sister, Barbara (Joseph) Eaglowski; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. 
Her daughter, Robin Aufderheide passed on the same day, she was also preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Ethel and Raymond Marchand.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at St. Barbara Catholic Church, 2813 Lincoln Way W, Massillon, OH 44647 at 10:30 am with Very Rev. Canon Matthew Mankowski celebrant.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, Massillon, from 5pm to 7pm in conjunction with her daughter,'s visitation. 
Burial to follow the service at St. Joseph Cemetery in Massillon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Barbara Catholic Church.
