Peggy E. (Sheneman) Dietz

Peggy E. Dietz, age 72 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center.

She was born December 18, 1950, in Conneaut, the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Applebee) Sheneman.

Peggy was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Massillon. Peggy was avid reader and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 52 years, William T. Dietz; three daughters, Penny Dietz, Mindy Dietz, Sherri (Tom) Meola; granddaughters, Jocelin and Journey; two great grandchildren, Jack and Harlenquinn; siblings, Kathy (Glen) Stover, Tim (Lynett) Sheneman, William (Jane) Sheneman, Pam Hovis and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twin sister, Patty Sheneman; brother-in-law, Glen Hovis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Heitger Funeral Home – Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, at Noon with Pastor Roger Alber officiating.

Calling hours will be held an hour prior to the service from 11 AM to Noon.
