Shirley J. (Houchins) Lemon

Shirley J. Lemon, age 81 of Massillon, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Legends Care Center.
She was born November 28, 1939, in Pipestem, WV, the daughter of the late Frank and Opal (Martin) Houchins.
Shirley retired from Tuslaw Local Schools in 1999 where she was a custodian for many years.  Previously she had worked at Perry Rubber and Nickles Bakery.  
She was a member of MOPS - Moose Auxiliary Chapter 32, AARP Chapter 2205.  Shirley enjoyed crochet, travel, and country music.
Shirley is survived by her son, Randy Lemon; two sisters, LouAnn Sprinkel, Faye Wood. 
She was preceded in death by husband, Sameul Ray Lemon, brothers, Bernard Houchins, Douglas Houchins, James Houchins, Robert Houchins, and sister, Edith Hopkins.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW at 1:00 pm.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave NW, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. 
Burial to follow the service at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Massillon.
