Theodore "Ted" Buss, of Massillon, passed away in his home surrounded by his family November 19th, 2024. Ted was born August 25th, 1937 & was 87 years old when he passed. He graduated from Jackson High School & was in the Army Reserves. He got his machinist apprenticeship from Timken Roller Bearing. Taught vocation school at Tusky Valley & Perry before buying Custom Machine Shop & operated it for 24 years. Ted, or lovingly nicknamed, Papa, was the go-to person for his children & grandchildren.

He was married to Norma (Plummer) Buss for 65 years. Preceded death by infant daughter Gwen & parents James & Evelyn Buss. Survived by wife, Norma; sister, Colleen Yost; daughters, Gail Ray & Mary (Bill) Renner; grandchildren, Shauna McLaughlin, Samantha (Chris) Gorski, Sabrina (Pablo) Uranga, Joe & Ben Renner; & great-grandchildren, Ariella, Isadora, & Jasper Wildey, & Azul & Ezra Uranga.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 24th, 2024 from 2PM-4PM at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon. Condolences to the family may be made at Heitger.com.
