Wanda Jean Bowman, age 67, of Jackson Twp., passed away from complications of Alzheimers Disease on Saturday, January 15, 2022, surrounded by her family.
She was born September 17, 1954, in Massillon the daughter of the late Harold and Edith (Stewart) Coleman.
Wanda retired from GE after 20 years of service.
She was a member of Jackson Friends Church.
She enjoyed dancing, music, going out to eat, cooking, shooting pool, road trips, riding on the back of Rod's Indian motorcycle, collecting carnival glass, animals, the beach, and anything adventurous. She had an open door and a heart of gold. Being a mother was her greatest joy and above all, she lived a life dedicated to the Lord.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rodney Bowman; her children, Kristin Bowman, Shanea (James) Craven, Clayton Bowman; siblings, Harold Coleman, Rita Blake, and Sandra Filkill; grandchildren, Jayden Jarvis and Blaire Craven. and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 3 to 5 P.M. at Heitger Funeral Home - Jackson Chapel, 5850 Wales Ave. N.W., Massillon.
