I'm so sorry to hear about Gary's passing. I have good memories of our younger years when we ran around in the same crowd. I haven't seen Gary in years, but I haven't given up the good memories. He was loved by so many, I know his passing will be hard on his closest friends. But hold on to his memory and you will see him again someday. Little things during the day may bring back his memory and make you sad, but smile because he is still around you.
