Elizabeth A. Hicks, age 87 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Meadow Wind Health Care Center.
She was born November 21, 1928, in Bourbon County, KY, the daughter of the late Shay and Sallie (White) Johnson.
Elizabeth  retired from Rose Lane Health Care Center after 24 years of service as a nurse aid.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter  Sharon Graber of Massillon, two Sons, Robert Hicks of Perry Twp. and Carl Hicks of Canton; Brother, Virgil "Pete" Johnson; Sisters, Martha Robinson, Eula Mae Hicks of Chillicothe, Dora Lyons, and Joanne Duffy of Las Vegas, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughters Betty Marshall and Mary Lou Janson, sistersMargaret, Betty, Dorothy, Minnie and brother Paul and her husband Robert A. Hicks who died in 1979.
Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
